Amateur Photography Contest

Mushrooms (black & white or color)	Landscapes	Animals/All Critters	Architecture
Floral	People	Open (includes black & white - no mushrooms)	Baby Bella (limited to photos of children 3 years & under)

Photographers of any age that are non-professionals are welcome

$5.00 per entry

No residency restriction for contestants. Photographs must be the work of the contestant.
Each photo entered must include a completed and signed entry blank.
Entry blanks may be photocopied.
All photo entries shall become the property of the Madison County Arts Council.
A separate $10 fee must be included if you want photos returned.

Entries must be postmarked or delivered to our office by 5pm, September 18, 2009.
No signed or dated photographs accepted.
Photography entries will be judged in a private session.
Grand prize winners will be notified prior to the show.
Winners will be notified by phone and posted on the internet.
Photographs must be submitted as full 8" x 10", glossy prints, unmounted, unframed, and with NO BORDER.
Transparencies will not be accepted.
Contestants may enter as many categories as they wish. No more than two photographs per contestant per category.
Any violation of the contest rules will result in disqualification. NO REFUND
Photographs should be suitable for family viewing and the Photography Committee reserves the right to refuse entries.
All entries in the Baby Bella category must be 36 months or younger as of October 17,2009 and such entry requires the signature of a parent or guardian.

BEST OF SHOW - will receive $200
BEST OF SHOW - "Runner Up" will receive $100
BEST MUSHROOM(S) - (Color or Black & White) will be awarded $100
First ($25), Second ($15), and Third ($10) place winners in each category. Each will also receive a ribbon.
