The Texas Mushroom Festival is a non-profit organization that host its annual Mushroom Festival in October, rain or shine. There are activities for children and young adults, contests to enter such as The Art Contest, The Photo Contest, Shiitake 5K Run and others. The Taste of Texas is where we showcase the proud purveyors of Texas Wines, Texas Craft Beers, and the area’s best chefs.  We also have an Auto Show that is among the best.

“Things to Know” Visit   this   area   to   for   events   &   contest.   submit   their   applications   to   sell   their   wares.   support     the     festival     sponsorships.
“Things to Enter” If   contest   &   events   are   your   thing,   make   the   most of   your   day   by   entering   our   Art   Contest,   the   Photo Contest,   the   5K   Shiitake   Run/Walk.   We   also   have   a festival   Ambassadors   contest   where   participants can win  valuable scholarships.
“Things to Do” There   are   all   kinds   of   activities   to   enjoy   during your   day   at   the   festival.   Visit   the   fantastic   Auto Showcase,   spend   some   time   in   The   Taste   of   Texas area   and   sample   some   of   the   finest   Texas   Craft Beers    and    Wines.    Watch    cooking    Demos    that always feature Mushrooms of all kinds.
